Fun Fact:

Every day that I'm in NYC, I spend time in Central Park, walking my dog and/or walking to and from work.

Describe a key piece of advice you received during your career and how it impacted you.

Great advice that I received from a mentor years ago is the importance of mastering something before delegating it to someone else. Understanding why each task matters and how it fits into the larger picture of a transaction has made me a more confident lawyer and stronger mentor.

Tell us about an accomplishment you are proud of.

Early in my career, I was a real estate associate in Boston at Sullivan & Worcester. I loved my work, colleagues and clients, but shortly after getting married, my husband's job brought us to NY. Expecting this to be short term, I stayed with S&W's Boston office until my daughter's birth. I then spent more time in NY and began working remotely for S&W, After stints at Cadwalader and Freshfields, my road happily led me to Sullivan & Worcester's NY office where I am delighted to be working again with many colleagues and clients from my Boston days and to be part of a sophisticated practice representing REITS and lenders.

How has CREWNY provided value to you?

CREWNY has empowered me to build new professional connections and meet amazing women who are in all stages of their careers. I find the magic of the CREW network to be strong and the collaboration amongst members to know no limits. Attending CREW Network Convention has amplified this powerful network of CREW members for me and introduced me to many CREW members who support each other not only in NY and Boston but also globally.
