Fun Fact:

I obtained my 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate from the Yoga Alliance in 2018 and taught yoga in various studios from 2018-2020. I am still super passionate about yoga and yogic philosophy and continue to teach for family and friends. In my spare time, I also love snowboarding, biking and rock climbing and have a general thirst for knowledge and learning.

What are some of the tools in your skill-set which have been critical to you in your career?

What has been most critical to my skill set and my career is the ability to take constructive criticism and to learn and grow from it. I have been extremely blessed with wonderful mentors throughout my career who care about seeing me excel in my role. In order to be better, you have to take a good look at what you are doing now and identify where there is room to improve. But many times we have blind spots when evaluating our own performance. Being open to constructive critique and acting on this advice has helped propel my career exponentially.

What is a skill you learned when you were younger, that you still use today?

A skill I leaned when I was younger that I still use today is how to read the room. In life, in business and in sales specifically, it is imperative that you are able to read body language and understand the needs of a prospect/client and how to meet those needs of the prospect/client. I have seen great success in matching selling style or in other words adapting your sales approach to align with the personality of your prospect. Operating in this way allows the prospect/client to feel comfortable strengthening their trust in you and bringing you that much closer to closing the deal.

What always improves your mood, and why?

Some things that I know will always improve my mood are movement, fresh air or time in nature, quality time spent with loved ones and time spent away from sitting in front of a screen!
